Saw this while heading back to the bike from Porto Rico coffee. Caught my eye, and now I guess I'm waiting for the next time I'm in the neighborhood after they open. Their web site doesn't have much to go by yet (particularly on a work notebook without Flash!), but I'll go check 'em out I suppose.

These are the bikes that Simon and Lisa Thomas have taken around the world. Many modifications have been made to these bikes, as detailed on their web site, 2RideTheWorld. Their story so far has been alternately exhilarating and terrifying. Their pictures are incredible. Their experience is unique.

These two photos are from Ruth Mountain. This isn't what some folks would call real off roading, but with big BMWs it's a challenge. I was glad to be on a little 650.
